Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will travel to Washington on October 13-14 to participate in the third round of the Greece-US Strategic Dialogue, where he is expected to sign, together with his US counterpart Antony Blinken, the Amendment Protocol. Second Mutual Defense Cooperation Agreement.
On Wednesday, October 13, the Greek Foreign Minister will meet with Congressman John Sarbanes, as well as Senator Chris Van Hollen.

Finally, on Wednesday, Nikos Dendias will attend a reception with representatives of the Greek diaspora.
On Thursday, October 14, the Greek Foreign Minister will go to the State Department, where he will have a private meeting with his American counterpart Antony Blinken, followed by extended talks.
The two ministers will launch, with their introductory words, the third round of the Strategic Dialogue, which began in December 2018.
This will be followed by statements which are expected to start around 16:45 GMT and will be broadcast live on the State Department website.
This will be followed immediately by the signing of the Second Protocol Amending the Mutual Defense Cooperation Agreement, for the first time in a five-year period.
The Secretary of State is then expected to meet with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who will also be in Washington, DC.
