The Permanent Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will take part in the work of the 67th annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which will be held from 8 to 11 October 2021, in Lisbon – Portugal.
The Permanent Delegation of the Portuguese Parliament to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will host the meeting.
The Lisbon session will bring together parliamentarians from NATO member states, North America and Europe, as well as delegates from partner countries, associate members and observers, to discuss current security issues and draft committee reports. Parliamentary Assembly.
The first part will be devoted to the meetings of the five committees of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly: the Political Committee, the Security and Defense Committee, the Science and Technology Committee, the Committee on Democracy and Security, and the Committee on Economy and Security.
During these meetings, representatives of governments, academia, the NGO sector and NATO will address the delegates.
The Plenary Session will be chaired by: President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Gerald E. Connolly, Secretary General and Chairman of the North Atlantic Council Jens Stoltenberg and Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Undersecretary General for United Nations peacekeeping operations.
The Montenegrin parliamentary delegation represents Danilo Šaranović, as head of the delegation, and members Vlado Raičević and Predrag Bošković.
