The Turkish Foreign Minister received the High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara.
In a Twitter post, Mevlut Cavusoglu wrote, “I am pleased to receive in Ankara Christian Schmidt, appointed High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We will continue to support the work of the High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the stability and integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. ”

A statement from the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia said, “High Representative Christian Schmidt met today in Ankara with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. The meeting focused on future cooperation.
Christian Schmidt, who has been appointed High Representative to BiH to replace Valentin Inzko, has not been accepted by the Republic of Serbia, nor has he received the support of permanent members of the UN Security Council, Russia and China.
