Bulgaria: BSP’s attempts to form government fail

“We have made every effort to reach a majority for a cabinet and an executive parliament. Our three protesting parties have refused. It is pointless to continue these efforts.”

This was stated by the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Cornelia Ninova after the meeting of the National Council of the party.

“Obviously, there is no desire for a regular cabinet. We return an unfulfilled order on Tuesday. We are pleased that the budget update will begin as soon as possible. The president may postpone the dissolution of the National Assembly. “Unfortunately, all sorts of proposals for updates have begun to fly, we hope we will not allow the risk of populist and pre-election bids, which will not lead to results in the end,” he said. added Ninova./ibna
