Kosovo: The revised budget for 2021 is approved

The Government of Kosovo during Friday’s meeting approved the revised budget 2021. The Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati said that the revised budget for this year will be 2.51 billion euros.

Murati said the revised budget is aimed at economic recovery hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. “All indicators point to a significant recovery, budget revenues are satisfactory and we are on the right track to recovery, the revised budget would be 2 billion and 516 million euros,” Murati said.

Defense Minister Armend Mehaj requested financial support of 4.6m euros to buy the drone. He said that the Kosovo Security Force needs to build its intelligence capacity and he asked the Government for the purchase of drones worth 4.6 million euros.
