Netherlands-based multi-game and media provider United Group is combining Telemach Slovenia and Telemach Croatia into a single business group, managed by Telemach Slovenia CEO Adrian Ježina, she said.
For the United Group, with Croatia on its way to becoming a fully converged market for the United Group and Slovenia already fully converged and growing in all segments, it makes sense to combine the two territories under a single management .
“An experienced professional in the telecommunications industry, Je dyina has two decades of leadership experience, including 15 years in his native Croatia, where he began his career.
Ježina joined the United Group in 2017. Under it, Telemach Slovenia has become the country’s leader in broadband internet access. It is one of only a handful of alternative operators in Europe to surpass the former market monopoly. “Telemach Slovenia has also successfully increased its market share in mobile communications to around 25% and is the leading provider of paid video content in Slovenia,” the Group said in a press release.
Çeinaina, they added, will share his time equally between the two countries, with a commitment to ensuring continued excellence of operations in Slovenia and further transformation in Croatia.
Viktor Pavlinić, the current CEO of Telemach Croatia, will step down from his role by mutual agreement. Pavlinić has been the business CEO since 2016 and joined United Group when he bought the company – then called Tele2 Croatia – in 2019.
Pavlinić led Tele2 through a successful sales process and has been essential to all that has been achieved with Telemach Croatia since joining the United Group. This includes rebranding, new mobile offers, introduction of fixed services and integration into the Group.
The United Group Executive Board thanks Pavlinil for his leadership during this important period of integration and transition, and wishes him every success in his future endeavors.
